Our Story

CHVD JUSTIN is a wearable bag brand, born in an Ohio State University dorm room by visionary entrepreneur and inventor, Chad J. Porter. He noticed that current backpack designs are outdated and need innovation. This is why he created The WEARPACK ®, a versatile, hand-crafted modern take on the backpack with a detachable chest bag.

 

He then used his campus job to fund the dorm room development and scale the brand. Chad's college beginning has inspired the CHVD JUSTIN PROMISE, our charitable initiative that invests in the next generation of student entrepreneurs.

 

Through this mission, we offer Student Design Project Charitable Discounts to our partnering schools by including students in the design process of their school's branded WEARPACK ®. We pledge to build and encourage a community of ambitious students, and leave no child behind.
